It is possible in both the Outlook and Outlook Web to add an external calendar. Here's how:
In Outlook:
- Open your Google calendar and do the following:
- Hover over the name of the calendar to be shared in the lower right part of the screen; you should see 3 dots appear
- Click the 3 dots, then click Settings and Sharing
- Click Integrate Calendar
- Scroll down to the Secret Address in iCal format and click it; this should highlight the URL
- Press Ctrl-C (Windows) or Cmd-C (Mac)
- Open Outlook and navigate to the Calendar view
- In the navigation pane (lower left corner), you should see one or more calendar groups
- Right click the calendar group to which you would like to add the calendar
- Hover over + Add Calendar, then click From the Internet
- Paste the URL from step 1 into the window and click OK
- Open Outlook Web's Calendar view.
- Click "Add Calendar" in the lower left pane.
- Follow the prompts to add the calendar.
